Exciting taste of New Zealand at AIME 2015

Exciting taste of New Zealand at AIME 2015

Impressive new infrastructure projects planned across the country will be a major talking point when New Zealand welcomes visitors to AIME 2015.

Conventions & Incentives New Zealand (CINZ) and Tourism New Zealand (TNZ) are leading a big contingent of New Zealand’s key business events operators to the Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Expo (AIME) in Melbourne on 24 and 25 February.

New CINZ Chief Executive Sue Sullivan will be updating AIME media and buyers on the latest developments around New Zealand, including the four new convention centres being planned for Christchurch, Queenstown, Wellington and Auckland.

“New Zealand is moving to the next level as it works to become a major player in the international convention business,” she says. “We have some very exciting talking points this year.”

The 100% Pure New Zealand team will be upping its famous hospitality too, bringing New Zealand’s top tastes to AIME visitors throughout the two days.

CINZ and Tourism New Zealand are inviting buyers to visit the 100% Pure New Zealand stand for their special Kiwi Express Lunch. Also on offer are the sweet treats at the 100% Pure New Zealand Lolly Station each day.

Special 100% Pure New Zealand Express Day Buyer lunches, sponsored by Tourism New Zealand, will be ready to grab and go from the stand on both days of AIME - Tuesday 24 and Wednesday 25 February.

CINZ Australia Manager, Sharon Auld says AIME is all about connecting. “What better way than a high energy conversation at the 100% Pure New Zealand lolly station, or a stress-free lunch break courtesy of New Zealand,” she says.

Throughout AIME the 100% Pure New Zealand Lolly Station (#B816, in the next aisle) will be a magical experience not to be missed, says Sharon Auld.

“Our amazing Middle Earth setting will reveal an abundance of authentic New Zealand sweets, like Pineapple Lumps, Jaffas, Perky Nanas and Chocolate Fish. Visitors will be spoilt for choice.”

New Zealand is also hosting two networking events sponsored by Tourism New Zealand on Wednesday 25 February. The 100% Pure New Zealand Hosted Buyer Breakfast will feature a taste of New Zealand’s best produce at the 100% Pure New Zealand stand.

And, the popular 100% Pure New Zealand Cloudy Bay Drinks event is back to delight guests on Wednesday from 3.30pm to 4.30 pm.

Showcasing the country’s diverse offerings, the new 100% Pure New Zealand Business Events video reel will feature in the AIME Community Hub continuously over the two-day event.
