National Maintenance Engineering Conference.

Exhibitors And Trainers Queueing Up To Join National Maintenance Engineering Conference.

The organisers of the 2105 SKF National Maintenance Engineering Conference have issued an invitation for industry suppliers and trainers to join the action at the expanded Claudelands Event Centre venue in Hamilton this November. Having sold out exhibition space for the last four years running, the move to Claudelands takes the exhibition facility to a whole new level, ensuring those suppliers that value getting in front of the country’s leading maintenance engineers are not left behind.

The enthusiastic support of exhibitors is always appreciated by the 200 strong delegates, who spend significant time browsing the latest industry offerings and catching up with suppliers. Unlike other events, NMEC exhibitors are involved in the conference and social proceedings as well. The Maintenance Engineering Society recognises their valuable contribution to providing solutions for industry and encourages their participation.

Involvement is not all that stands NMEC apart from other events, cost is another powerful driver. According to Expo Manager Chris Thomas, “As a non-profit society, MESNZ is able to offer the lowest participation cost for both exhibitors and delegates. The driver is to get people together. The society has an ethos that price should not be a barrier and they work very hard to ensure every company has the opportunity to join the ranks regardless of size.”

Not only is the participation cost the lowest in the Southern Hemisphere for any 2 day event, exhibitors receive a 3rd bonus day absolutely free with the Pre-Conference Trade Expo. This half day event is open to the public and invited guests, providing massive opportunity to meet new clients. “Add our pre-conference Training Village where we provide the opportunity for industry trainers to run their training at no cost from us to this and you can begin to see why suppliers are falling over themselves to become involved.”

Chris Thomas returned to the SKF NMEC after a 10 year break and has been instrumental in adding value to exhibitors, working alongside them to ensure that the people they want to see at Claudelands are invited and the event packs the wow factor for all involved.

“Claudelands is truly world class venue from the conference plenum to the exhibition hall and the facilities. It truly offers the opportunity for us to lift our game and will be the industry talking point of 2015.”

Planning for the 2015 SKF National Maintenance Engineering Conference is well underway, with registration, exhibition and major sponsorship slots filling up already for the November 18,19 event. The switch to Claudelands is backed up with an accommodation package at the Novotel/Ibis complex including a nonstop shuttle service. Attendees can continue to expect plenty of world class industry and maintenance focused attention, information and inspiration to take back to their workplaces.
