An End of the deNada Style - High Fashion house to close
PRESS RELEASE 9 March 2015
deNada
An End of
the deNada Style
Wellington High Fashion
house to close.
It is the end of a fashion
era for deNada.
deNada has been a strong and much loved player in the Wellington fashion scene for almost a decade. In the next few months that era will end.
“deNada has run its course,” said designer and company owner Nada Piatek. “Since we began in 2005, both the market and my own situation have changed dramatically. Our customers make their shopping decisions in a vastly different manner now and all businesses in this sector need to change in response to these new behaviours. While I fully accept this progress, I have made the choice not to change with it but instead to exit so that I can focus my energy on other endeavours which better serve my family and my own ambitions.”
During the last nine years deNada team has been quite magnificent, at its peak 14 strong and comprising over 35 staff in total during its time. The team have worked passionately to provide great NZ designed and made fashion, sold with the best of customer service, to our 30-45 years old customers. deNada has had the benefit and support of CreativeHQ in its infancy and the support and advice of some wonderful mentors on an on-going basis.
We are very thankful for the
support we have received by some of the most stylish
Wellington women. Many of our loyal customers have become
friends and it has been a daily pleasure to have had them be
a part of our journey.
Every cloud has its silver lining though — In the coming weeks, deNada customers will benefit immediately from significant discounts in-store and online, starting with 30% OFF all new season collection garments and masses of old stock at marked prices.
Come play... one last time!
