Westfield Albany impacted by mains water supply
Scentre Group owner of Westfield Albany advises that due to the major failure of the mains water supply, parts of the Albany region (including Westfield Albany) have experienced interrupted water supply since approximately 5pm on 12/3/2015
As a result Westfield Albany was forced to close at 6pm last night and remains closed this morning.
Kmart and New World continue to trade. Over 30 portoloos are in place for the comfort of their staff and customers.
It is too early for us to comment on compensation or the financial implications of this failure.
Our focus remains on getting our retailers to a position where they can recommence trade.
