Context Architects appoints award-winning architect Jonathan Gibb
Context Architects’ has appointed renowned architect Jonathan Gibb as an associate. Returning from a five-year stint in Melbourne, Jonathan has more than twenty years’ experience of master planning and designing buildings and developments both in New Zealand and Australia. Credits to his name include the award-winning Imperial Buildings and Everybody’s Building in Queen Street, Auckland; New Lynn War Memorial Library; Christchurch Convention Centre and the Sky City Casino, Convention Centre and Grand Hotel.
Jonathan joins the Context team at the practice’s Auckland office to lead commercial new builds, multi-unit residential developments and large scale public sector projects. Committed to high standards in architecture, Jonathan has won many awards for significant projects and is a highly motivated to understand and deliver on clients’ vision.
Context Architects is the preferred national architect for leading retailers and banks, as well as specialising in commercial, and medium and high-density residential developments. Context operates nationally and internationally from offices in Auckland and Christchurch.
