Better coffee breaks at Pead PR with Muffin Break signing

Muffin Break NZ has appointed Auckland-based independent Pead PR to manage its public relations effective immediately.

Pead PR won the account in a competitive pitch involving two agencies.

The New Zealand activity for Muffin Break focuses on brand building PR, new product innovations, franchise initiatives and ongoing press office activity.

The account is under the management of Pead PR group account director Becky Erwood and the company’s marketing team reporting directly to Gemma Fitzsimons, Muffin Break marketing manager ANZ.

Muffin Break is a premium bakery-café franchise owned by Foodco Group Pty Ltd. Specialising in foods freshly-baked on-site daily and recognised for its Golden Bean award-winning proprietary coffee blend, Muffin Break occupies a unique niche in the retail food industry.

The Muffin Break concept originated in Canada but was acquired by Foodco in 1989 and refined for contemporary conditions. Muffin Break now comprises more than 280 cafés across New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom.
