Hawke’s Bay Hospitality Awards Finalists

Old and New Favourites Appear in Hospo line up

The region’s Hospitality industry has spoken and the finalists have been announced in the Hawke’s Bay Hospitality Awards for 2015.

The Hospitality Awards is about honouring those who work to achieve excellence in hospitality and the peer voting system enables the industry to recognise those who strive to be the best in this vital and vibrant sector. The higher polling numbers than in previous year’s saw some close results with a tie for 4th place in several categories, reflecting the keen interest to recognise the best.

Some of the region’s new establishments like Monica Loves, Hugo Chang, JARKs Cityside and the Little Black Bird Café make an appearance alongside established outlets such as The Old Church, Pacifica Restaurant, the Puketapu Hotel and Deliciosa.

One of the category sponsors, Paul Anderson of Basepoint said “Hospo people are passionate about what they do and being in a customer driven business are constantly being monitored by the general public. We support these awards as it gives hospo people a chance to shine in their peers eyes”.

Event organiser Adele Fitzgerald of Food Hawke’s Bay said “the Finalists can all feel honoured to have been selected by their peers. Hospitality people can now turn their attention to voting for the winners and then looking forward to a celebratory night when the winners are revealed”.
