Joint multi-nation venture brings affordable, quality housing to Christchurch
Christchurch, New Zealand – Tuesday 12 March, 2015
New Zealand Company Number 1 Homes Ltd, has reached a major milestone with their first new home build in Rolleston, Canterbury, nearing completion.
With the Government’s initiative to remove trade tariffs on imported buildings and building materials in July 2014, Number 1 Homes developed international and national infrastructures to pass on these cost savings and reduced building times to the New Zealand Public.
The Minister for Building and Housing Dr Nick Smith will be attending an event showcasing the first house under this model at 40 Granite Drive, Rolleston on Wednesday 13 May, 2015, from, 2.30pm to 3.30pm.
A lot of planning and consultation has gone into getting to this point, and we are pleased to finally have the first Number 1 Homes’ build nearing completion.
America, Australia, Canada, China and Germany all play a part in providing Number 1 Homes with a fully engineered and code compliant building that is backed by a Master Builders 10 Year Guarantee.
This is a major milestone for the company who first appeared at the Canterbury Home Show last year, promising to provide the best value-for-money new home build in Christchurch.
Company spokesperson Alina Boyce says, “This is a huge milestone. A lot of planning and consultation has gone into getting to this point, and we are pleased to finally have the first Number 1 Homes build nearing completion.”
This is the first of Number 1 Homes Ltd architecturally designed and fully engineered homes dedicated to reducing construction time and cost of new home builds in Canterbury.
