Gull Delivers More Options – And Savings – to Hawke’s Bay Motorists
Motorists in Hastings are
benefiting from increased options when filling the tank,
thanks to the opening of a third Gull site in the region
this month.
Gull, the independent, family-owned energy company, opened its newest site, Gull Mayfair, at 1000 Karamu Road North, Hastings, on Saturday 2 May.
Gull Mayfair is the first drive-through, pay-at-pump site in the Hawke’s Bay, bringing increased convenience to Kiwis who have difficulty slowing down long enough to fill up. Motorists keen to fill up more than just their tanks, can still head to Gull Omahu Road where the full complement of pies and coffee are on offer, along with Gull’s competitive fuel prices.
“Over time we’ve noticed a shift in how people want to fuel their cars – some people, such as parents with kids in tow and those rushing from one appointment to the next, prefer the convenience of not having to queue to pay,” says Karl Mischewski, Retail Development and Sustainability Manager at Gull.
“However, there are also people who want to grab a snack and benefit from additional savings by using Countdown supermarket vouchers. We’re pleased to offer motorists in the Hawke’s Bay, and across the North Island, multiple options when refuelling so they can do so in a way most convenient and helpful to them and their lifestyle.”
As of Thursday 14 May, the price for Diesel was $1.049 per litre, 29 cents below competitor’s national retail price. Regular 91 was priced at $1.989 per litre, an average of 10 cents per litre below the national retail price of fuel.
Gull Mayfair is the 69th Gull site in New Zealand and provides Regular 91, Low Sulphur Diesel and Gull Force 10 (98 Octane) on four dispensers. Hawke’s Bay is also home to Gull Napier.
