First Software and Forman Building set new standards
First Software and Forman Building Systems reaching for new standards of supply chain excellence
Improved visibility of orders, faster invoice and order processing and greater accuracy are the outcomes of the successful partnership between Forman Building Supplies and First Software.
Forman needed to modernise its ERP system to improve efficiency and equip itself for future challenges, and used First Software’s flagship cloud-based ERP system and ecommerce application suite to do just that.
Forman operations manager Arie Bakker says improving the speed and accuracy of getting materials out were key drivers for the company, and that speed and ease of use are noticeably better using the new system.
“It’s really about Forman being the easiest to deal with. This business has become more competitive so this is a good platform for us to step up on in this environment.”
First Software was tasked with moving Forman to a modern SQL database which is the platform for its latest N2 third-generation ERP system.
First Software general manager Alex Petraska, says the implementation was the smoothest the company has worked on.
