TE ARO, Wellington (June 3, 2015) – SPEEDY SIGNS, New Zealand’s largest sign franchise, announces James and Sarah Abaniel are now the new owners of the Wellington Central store on 271 – 277 Willis Street.

Before becoming Speedy Signs franchsiees, the Abaniels had been living and working in Sydney since 2007 after Sarah was relocated by her employer, Reckitt Benckiser, a global FMCG company. Sarah‘s position was Senior Brand Manager and she worked across a number of brands including Finish, Dettol, and Nurofen. James worked in finance and accounting within Logistics (Toll Holdings) and media (Warner Music and Special Broadcasting Service (SBS). They have moved back home to New Zealand, specifically Wellington to be closer to family now that they have young children.

The Abaniel’s believe that Speedy Signs is an appropriate fit for them as their combined skills and background complement each other, allowing them to grow the business and assist clients through outstanding signage and branding solutions.

“We particularly like the idea that Speedy Signs is business-to-business focused and we believe that our skills gained in the corporate world will be a great combination to add value to our customers” says Sarah Abaniel. “Although we’ve only been involved with the franchise for a short time and, are still finding our feet, long term we would like to get the business to a stage where it’s running smoothly and efficiently, opening up more opportunity for business growth.”
