Placemakers – Back in Business in South Auckland
PlaceMakers will start trading on the 1st
July 2015 at 8 Great South Road, Takanini.
Gary Woodhouse, General Manager of Operations and Marketing says “We’re re-opening from our previous site with a singular trade focus; we want to deliver the service levels and fulfilment standards expected by a busy trade customer and being open for business in South Auckland is a part of that. We’re here to stay. We’re committed to an ongoing presence in South Auckland and we are building a new purpose-built PlaceMakers Auckland South facility in 2016.”
He adds “This is a period of growth in the building sector and Auckland in particular, we will be looking to employ 4 full time employees initially and after the opening of the new branch in 2016, this will be revised to a total of 16.”
Tony McDrury, who currently manages PlaceMakers Counties at 4 Comrie Place, Pukekohe, will also manage this branch.PlaceMakers will be looking to use both sites to service the trade.
Tony says “The aim of all PlaceMakers stores is to ensure that no one is easier to do business with than PlaceMakers and a joint management approach adds real benefits in terms of saving time and convenience for our customers by optimising logistics and resources.”
PlaceMakers Auckland South will stock a trade-select range with key core building products to hand and over 100,000 available on order. Further, we promise that there are no ‘out of stocks’ on 250 core building products.
