Whitby show home wins national award
A Jennian Homes show home, built in new subdivision ‘The Banks’ in Whitby, has won the ‘Jennian Homes Best Presented Show Home of the Year’ award.
Simon Barber, who co-owns the Wellington franchise of Jennian Homes along with his wife Belinda, says he is ecstatic about the win. “We went on a study tour in Australia in February and this helped us exponentially, and we really raised the bar in terms of how the home looked and was staged.”
The single level, three bedroom home, which is part of the Jennian Homes Proven Range, is situated on a flat section and is constructed of quality materials and backed by a 10-year Master Builder’s guarantee.
Dave Wilson, business development manager for Jennian Homes says: “What makes Jennian Homes unique is our passion for ensuring our customers have a superior experience throughout their entire journey with us. This starts with the show home, where customers can see and touch a model of their new home to be, and immerse themselves in it so they can actually feel what it will be like to live there.”
The Wellington franchise works very closley with the Wairarapa franchise, which won the ‘Jennian Homes Franchisee of the Year’ in the same round of awards. Simon says this is recognition of the work the whole team is doing. “We hire the best people and are very team focused, and the awards we have received highlight this.”
The Jennian Homes team is also very community-spirited, and are actively involved in the local area, including heavily backing the annual Jennian Homes Mother’s Day Fun Run/Walk which takes place annually to raise funds for the Heart Foundation and generate awareness of heart disease in women.
Jennian Homes is offering home and land packages in Whitby from $530,000.
