Every minute eight people
visit careers.govt.nz
Careers New Zealand’s Plain English award winning website, careers.govt.nz, receives around four million visits a year – which equates to eight people visiting the site every minute.
A recent nationwide survey conducted by Nielsen shows Careers New Zealand is the place to go to get ‘career ready’.
“The results showed over half of all New Zealanders have heard of us. In addition 70% of 15-24 year olds have heard of us and half of those have used our services in the last 12 months,” says Careers New Zealand, Chief Executive Keith Marshall.
“What is more exciting is that 84% of New Zealanders who have heard of us, trust us and our information.”
Keith says the sheer volume of use shows the ongoing interest that people have in getting ‘career ready’.
