Harbour appoints Operations Analyst; Cheryll Morales

Harbour is pleased to announce the appointment of Cheryll Morales as a specialist Operations Analyst. This appointment reflects the growth in Harbour’s business, and our continued focus on having the resources and systems in place to deliver global best practice funds management services for our clients.

Cheryll will be focusing on providing investment operations and administration support for the equity and fixed income teams.

Cheryll has over seven years’ experience with global custodial banks covering fund management, investment and treasury operations, risk management and project management. Cheryll will be working with the team in the Harbour’s Wellington office.

Prior to joining Harbour, Cheryll was with JP. Morgan Chase for two years, with a focus on cash forecasting, pooling and management, FX modelling and reconciliations. Cheryll also implemented risk control polices and process improvements across the business. In this role Cheryll was responsible for JP Morgan global clients.

Prior to JP Morgan, Cheryll worked at UnionBank of the Philippines managing a team responsible for the settlement, accounting and reporting of money market, fixed income, equity and foreign exchange activities for trust and asset management clients.

Cheryll has a Masters of Applied Mathematics in Finance.
