Champion Sauvignon Blanc by Rapaura Springs

Champion Sauvignon Blanc by Rapaura Springs

Rapaura Springs Reserve Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2014 took home the prestigious Trophy for Champion Sauvignon Blanc at the Spiegelau International Wine Competition at a gathering of the industry’s finest at the Northern Club in Auckland on Saturday night.

This crowning achievement comes after a fantastic year of awards and strong demand for our Reserve Sauvignon Blanc. The wine had earlier scooped GOLD at the NZ International Wine Show and the Air New Zealand Wine Awards, and was one of the top 3 rated Sauvignon Blanc wines from 2014 according to Bob Campbell MW, scoring an impressive 95 Points.

Rapaura Springs owner Brendan Neylon says “it was a great night and fantastic to collect the Trophy for our flagship Sauvignon. We challenge ourselves each year to deliver an expressive, layered Reserve wine and results like these are testament to the hard work and dedication from the vineyard through the cellar. This Reserve wine is carving out an impressive pedigree, every vintage having collected medals and awards.”

The 2015 Spiegelau International Wine Competition attracted over 1,200 entries, and was judged by industry professionals from the 8th to 10th July 2015 in Marlborough.

Rapaura Springs, delivering consistently excellent wines! Available at good retailers nationwide. RRP $18.99
