Winter bookings increase significantly for Terra Vive Luxury Suites and Apartments thanks to bumper ski season.
Christchurch’s Terra Vive Luxury Suites and Apartments has seen an increase in overseas visitors this winter thanks to Canterbury’s strong ski season.
Terra Vive Luxury Suites and Apartments manager Brian Ramsay says they’ve seen more ski tourist bookings than in previous years.
“In the past overseas ski tourists have tended to stop over at Terra Vive on their way down to the Central Otago ski fields, but this year many have been staying on and making the most of Canterbury’s snow base.
“Our guests tell us that they prefer to stay in the city as when the ski fields are closed there’s more for them to do.”
This winter Terra Vive Luxury Suites and Apartments have seen an increase in Australian tourists in particular coming to Canterbury to ski.
