First Software announces latest customer

First Software, one of New Zealand’s pioneers in Cloud ERP Deployments, are pleased to announce that PK Furniture have signed up as a customer. PK Furniture is one of the fastest growing furniture resellers in New Zealand with over 60 staff across 12 stores.

PK Furniturehave chosen to go with the full multi-channel retail functionality offered by First Software’s N2 ERP including Point of Sale, Order Processing, Stock &Warehouse Management, CRM, Purchasing, Ecommerce, Financials andBusiness Intelligence.

PK Furniture expect to reap considerable benefits from the implementation including cost reductions, increased efficiencies, and greater visibility of information across the entire business. In addition to managing store sales, First Software’s N2 ERP will also manage operations at their 14,000 square metre distribution centre – which is one of the largest (and busiest)in Auckland with an average of two 40 foot containers arriving every day.

PK Furniture’s sole Director, David Huang, said he was very pleased to find one solution that could meet all their retail, distribution and ecommerce needs. Local support was also very important to David.

Some of PK Furniture’s requirements are particularly complex as they offer a wide range of choices from purchasing in-store or online, delivery using their own trucks and/or freight providers, pickup from any store, or the distribution centre, and any combination of the above options.

The project is on track tobe completed at the end of October, withthe new ecommerce website as well as N2 ERP going liveat the same time – both provided by First Software.

The deal is very significant for First Software as it position’s N2 ERP at the forefront for retail chains searching for a replacement for out dated and disjointed systems - without the cost and business impact normally associated with using Tier 1 ERP packages from overseas.
