Michael Hollings joins Stephenson Thorner

Experienced Accountant Michael Hollings joins Stephenson Thorner

Wellington accountancy firm Stephenson Thorner today announced that Michael Hollings has joined the practice as an Associate of the firm.

Michael joins Stephenson Thorner from an international accounting firm and has 15 years’ experience working with across a broad range of businesses from SMEs to larger corporates in the property sector. He has specialised in providing business advisory services including helping new start-ups, business planning and growth strategies, asset and wealth protection, and preparing businesses for sale.

Stephenson Thorner founder and managing partner Anne Stephenson said, “Michael’s skillset complements the practice: he has a wealth of experience working in a CA environment and his passion for exceptional service, business expertise and quirky sense of humour makes him an ideal fit at Stephenson Thorner.”

Michael has a BA in political science and a BCA in accountancy from the University of Otago.

At Stephenson Thorner, Michael will provide business growth services to new and existing clients, and mentoring to the team to develop their skills.

Michael is a part owner of a successful Wellington hospitality business that has a number of outlets, is currently restoring a 104 year old classic yacht and enjoys an occasional craft beer.
