Wellington winners announced this Friday!

This Friday, 21 August, the top carpentry apprentices in Wellington and Wairarapa will be celebrated at an awards ceremony at The Boatshed in Wellington.

The winning apprentice will go on to compete against winners from nine other regions at the national competition in Auckland in October, vying for the title of national carpentry Apprentice of the Year.

Owned by the Registered Master Builders Association, the Apprentice of the Year competition is made possible thanks to principal sponsor Carters, the Building and Construction Industry Training Organisation (BCITO), and supporting sponsors the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) and APL through their Altherm, First and Vantage brands.
