NZ Travel Brokers and Director Win Top Travel Industry Awards

NZ Travel Brokers Win Top Travel Award and Director Steve Lee Wins Lifetime Industry Achievement Award.

For the second year in a row, NZ Travel Brokers has won the prestigious Best Broker Brand award at the 2015 Travel Agents Association of New Zealand (TAANZ) National Travel Industry Awards. The award recognises excellence in customer focus, brand management and industry involvement.

Guy Flynn, director of NZ Travel Brokers believes the continued success of the business comes from their emphasis on people. “We focus on building our people and making sure we have the right people in the right place, then our people build the business.”

NZ Travel Brokers Director Steve Lee, was also honoured with an Air New Zealand Lifetime Industry Achievement Award. The award recognizes his leadership and contribution to the travel industry over almost four decades.

Flynn said of his fellow directors award. “Steve’s award capped the evening off tremendously. It’s fantastic to see qualified recognition for his near 40 years service to the industry.”

NZ Travel Brokers also featured in the individual awards with Debbie Bradford winning the award for Best Broker. This award recognises an individual who personifies excellence in their role as a travel broker and demonstrates best practice and individual achievement in broker travel service sales.

Winners of the 2015 TAANZ National Travel Industry Awards were announced on Friday 28th August 2015 at the Museum of Transport and Technology (MOTAT), Auckland.
