BHW Limited announces appointment of non-executive board chair

Bertelsen Harry Waters Limited (BHW) announce the appointment of Viv Brownrigg as its non executive chair. Viv joins Dan Henderson and Brendan Waters on the board.

Based in Auckland, BHW is a boutique accounting and advisory practice, delivering accounting and business advisory services to the small to medium enterprise market (SME).

“The accounting industry is going through significant change as price cutting and the commoditisation of services place the traditional firm at risk,” says BHW Director, Dan Henderson.

“We are focusing on building enduring relationships with clients and providing them with a high-value yet affordable Virtual CFO service. Business planning and strategy is part of our team’s common language and such language is frankly foreign to many traditional accounting firms.

Viv brings significant business development capability from her 25 years in public practice, her various leadership roles within the accounting industry, as well as public company governance experience. We are excited to have Viv join the team and look forward to her contribution.”

“I’m excited to be working with such a progressive accounting firm, one that understands implicitly the business development needs of the New Zealand business and whose core values are at the heart of their business model,” says Brownrigg. “We are very much aligned on the business purpose and opportunity.”

With offices currently in Greenlane, BHW is preparing to relocate to premises in Parnell later this year.
