Veggie lovers to get My Food Bag

Veggie lovers to get My Food Bag

Hefty demand from customers for a vegetarian option has led to My Food Bag adding the choice to its range of home delivered recipes and ingredients – perfectly timed for October’s World Vegetarian Awareness Month.

My Veggie Bag, like My Food Bag’s other offerings, focuses on fresh, healthy and delicious meals and is designed to help to instil variety and creativity in to the diets of vegetarian foodies says head chef and dietitian Nadia Lim.

“Many vegetarians crave inspiration in the kitchen and are on the lookout for dinner ideas that are packed with flavour and simple to prepare. We hear feedback from our customers all the time that My Food Bag has helped them to be more creative in the kitchen and with new recipes every week, My Veggie Bag customers too will have plenty of options.”

Examples of My Veggie Bag recipes include Grilled Spiced Haloumi with Kumara and Falafels Freekeh Tabouleh and Humus Pita Bread.

Ms Lim also thinks My Veggie Bag will be popular with non-vegetarians.

“Meat free eating is becoming increasingly popular as people recognise the benefits of including some meat free meals in their diet. It’s a common misconception that creating a meal without meat is more difficult.

“My Veggie Bag is packed full of seasonal, nutritious ingredients that can be made into delicious and easy dinner meals in around 30 minutes.”

My Food Bag is a great service for vegetarians looking to source and instil variety in to their diets says group CEO Cecilia Robinson.
