New Company Launch: Pollen Group
New Company Launch: Pollen Group
3 November 2015
The recent joint venture between Fletcher Systems and the Finewood Group of Companies has today announced a new corporate umbrella brand: Pollen Group. The new corporate brand officially launched November 1st and will better reflect the coming together of the international furniture brands it represents.
For consumers and clients alike, the international and award-winning brands of Fletcher Systems, essenze and IQ Commercial will remain unchanged as one of New Zealand’s leading furniture and product design teams.
With the evolving and often intersecting worlds of commercial, residential and hospitality furnishings, the new Pollen Group will offer a world-class portfolio to each of these markets in fourteen different countries and three different continents. The award-winning manufacture capabilities of Finewood complete the integration process starting at the research based insights through to the award-winning design teams.
Reflecting on the new name, Pollen Group CEO Blair McKolskey commented that the name was selected to represent the group’s desire to use the portfolio to measurably improve clients’ lives: “Pollen represents the beginning of life and creation providing opportunities for life to flourish. It is this kind of thinking that helps separate our team. Whether that is our IQ Commercial brand using nanofibre technology to drive organisational performance or essenze to engage the emotive senses in the home, we are driven by a desire to make each day a bit better. Our desire to research requirements in depth leads to design insights not normally obvious which are then developed and delivered by our manufacturing facilities.”
This vertically integrated group of brands has experienced significant growth over the past five years and can now boast an impressive global client list across the commercial residential and hospitality sectors.
A launch event will be held in Auckland on November 24th.
