Burger Liquor celebrates first birthday with $1 burgers
To celebrate a successful first year, Wellington restaurant Burger Liquor is marking the occasion with $1 burgers, served for one hour from 1-2pm on their first birthday, Tuesday 10th November.
“Everyone has worked super hard and we’re having heaps of fun here on Willis Street”, says owner/operator Dan Haycock.
“It’s great to just knock the first birthday on the head, but we have so much more growing to do, and the place is always evolving which makes it fun for both staff and customers".
Impressing the discerning customers of Wellington’s busy hospitality environment is no easy task, but with a motto that suggests ‘Fancy Eating with Your Fingers’, hard work and locally-sourced quality products, Burger Liquor is now a firmly established local eatery.
Haycock is thrilled at how things have progressed and wanted to pass that on to customers, “We thought it would be a bit of fun playing with the number 1, and what better burger to sell than our classic cheeseburger” – a ground chuck beef mince pattie, matched to cheddar, pickle, a house ketchup, and mustard mayo on a Aro Bake brioche bun, named ‘The Standard’.
“It is also a chance to say thanks to our great customers who have shown such great support over the last year”, he says.
