Mother Earth introduces UMF® Manuka Honey

Kiwis can now enjoy nature at its most delicious with the launch of Mother Earth’s first ever UMF® Manuka honey, naturally made by New Zealand bees.

Originating from New Zealand’s native Manuka tree, Manuka honey is praised for its tasty, earthy tones and unique flavour. Not only does locally-produced UMF® Manuka honey taste delicious, it has developed a renowned reputation across the globe.

Mother Earth’s new UMF® Manuka Honey is a premium honey of the purest form, certified by the Unique Manuka Factor Honey Association’s quality mark. The UMF® grading system appraises natural markers found in Manuka honey and assures purity and quality.

To measure the UMF® component of Manuka honey, each batch is tested and rated according to an industry-adopted scale. The higher the number, the higher the degree of the honey’s purity and quality. Mother Earth’s UMF® Manuka Honey has been tested against the scale to offer two products of differing UMF® strengths – UMF 5+ and UMF 10+.
