TechnologyOne closes out successful year in New Zealand

Client roster now includes TSB Bank, Councils in Wellington, New Plymouth and Whangarei, Christchurch International Airport and lines companies MainPower and Network Waitaki

02 December 2015, Auckland -- Leading enterprise software provider TechnologyOne has increased its footprint in New Zealand, closing out the year with a number of major new customers.

Key organisations signing up for TechnologyOne’s preconfigured enterprise solutions included Wellington City Council and TSB Bank, while existing customer Whangarei District Council opted to move from an on premise setup to the company’s Software as a Service (SaaS) offering.

“This year we saw customers increasingly opting for our preconfigured enterprise solutions, which have proven practice and are already configured, significantly reducing the time, effort, cost and risks associated with traditional enterprise implementations,” TechnologyOne’s Executive Chairman Adrian Di Marco said.

“We also saw a major momentum shift in local government, with customers like Wellington City Council and Whangarei District Council preferring our enterprise software as a service.

“Our vision for cloud and mobile is resonating, as the market begins to understand the difference between the lift and shift approach offered by hosting providers, and sees the benefits in the massive economies of scale SaaS vendors provide.”

TechnologyOne also completed milestone go lives of its preconfigured OneEnergy solution at Network Waitaki, and its Enterprise Asset Management and Enterprise Content Management solutions at New Plymouth District Council.

“We value building true long-term partnerships with our customers, to understand their needs,” Mr Di Marco said.

“Our focus is to ensure we are delivering real value to our customers by implementing our industry solutions faster, with lower cost and lower risk.”

Further strengthening TechnologyOne’s position is its results for the full year ending 30 September 2015, which marked its twelfth consecutive year of record revenues and licence fees. The results are at the higher end of market guidance of profit growth of between 10 and 15 per cent, with Net Profit Before Tax up 16 per cent on the prior full year period to AUD $46.5 million (approximately NZD $51 million).
