Advaro in Discussions with New Owner of Intagr8
Commercial finance company Advaro is looking forward to working with the new owner of Intagr8.
“We were disappointed to hear the news about Intrag8 going into liquidation on Thursday 17 December,” says Advaro chief executive Joe Duncan. “We immediately suspended the financing of any new Intagr8 customers, and continued to monitor the situation closely.
“Consequently, we were pleased to learn the liquidator sold Intagr8 to a new owner on Friday, 18 December, and we are already in discussions with them and look forward to working with them in the future.”
Duncan says: “Throughout this process, we have maintained contact with the liquidators, the new owner, Vodafone, and other telephone services providers. It looks like customers, if they wish, will be able to continue using Vodafone services without any disruption to their businesses, through to 15 Jan 2016.
“Other providers may offer alternative services and terms. Those Intagr8 customers with hardware rental agreements with Advaro continue on the same terms and the rentals remain payable to Advaro.”
Duncan says Advaro has always operated very robust processes. “Our customer contracts regarding Intagr8 have always been clear about how the funding works, with some important terms displayed prominently on the front page.
“This includes information about who is the Owner (the finance company) and who is the Renter (the customer). As a result, we received very few complaints from Intagr8 customers before the newspaper publicity – under 2% of our total Intagr8 customer base.”
