Have a Queenstown Adventure with Crowne Plaza Queenstown

Whether its summer, autumn, winter or spring, Queenstown is one of the most magical places on earth.

Crowne Plaza Queenstown’s welcoming all seasons with its Adventure package and the chance to win a relaxing getaway for two.

The Adventure package, valid until 30 June 2016, includes accommodation for two at Crowne Plaza Queenstown, including a full buffet breakfast daily in its stunning threesixty restaurant.

To get you out into the great Queenstown outdoors, the package also comes with two 20% off vouchers for Around The Basin bike tours, which can be used towards any of their half or full-day custom tours.

There’s also a chance to win an Adventure* prize for two including two nights’ accommodation at Crowne Plaza Queenstown and an Around The Basin bike tour for two valued at $278 – entering the competition could not be easier.

Entrants are asked to simply upload a photo of the best part of their morning commute to the property’s social media site https://social.crowneplazaqueenstown.co.nz/.

The competition closes at 2pm on 29 February 2016 (NZST) when judges will make their decision on the most creative entry. The lucky winner can then look forward to waking up with a view of Lake Wakatipu and The Remarkables mountain range in Queenstown.

All photos must be original and uploaded by the person who takes the shot, and every upload counts as one entry. Sharing the photo will be considered as two entries, and people are welcome to upload more than one shot.

Crowne Plaza Queenstown General Manager Reinier Eulink said the competition and the Adventure package offered a chance for a couple or two friends to enjoy some well-deserved “time out” in the adventure capital of Queenstown.

“It’s a lovely full weekend package for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of Queenstown and everything the region has to offer at a time of year that locals love,” he said.

“Mornings are often clear and bright with blue skies, and afternoons and evenings warm and sunny, the perfect time to enjoy a mini-break and explore our ever-growing range of bike trails in the heart of some of the most spectacular scenery you could ever wish for.

“Energize, invigorate and refuel mind and body, and let our hugely knowledgeable and welcoming staff take care of your every need.”

Mr Eulink described Around The Basin as the “local experts” when it came to bike tours, around the Arrow River in Arrowtown, exploring Queenstown and surrounds, or taking visitors to areas where Central Otago’s award-winning wines are created.

“They’re not as extreme or adrenalin-fuelled as some other activities while still being active in our great outdoors. The tours are perfect for a couple looking to enjoy some time together and experience Queenstown, and come with as little or much support as you need along the way.”

“We’ve already had some very creative entries for the competition showing the many and varied ways New Zealanders get to work, so we look forward to seeing some more,” said Mr Eulink.
