Qual IT to expand Auckland market share
New Auckland appointment, James Ormsby, focussed on levering huge Qual IT resource base and breadth of expertise to grow their place in the city.
Auckland, 29 January 2016. Independent Software Quality Assurance (QA) specialists, Qual IT, are looking to leverage new appointment, former ViFX Client Director James Ormsby, to expand Auckland market share.
As the new Auckland-based business development manager, James Ormsby will be working closely with Qual IT’s existing Auckland services team to identify potential opportunities and develop strategies to capitalise on these.
Ormsby joined Qual IT from ViFX in November 2015 and has spent the past few months engaging the Auckland services team and gaining an understanding and appreciation for the work the team does.
Ormsby says he will concentrate on opportunities across a number of verticals, leveraging Qual IT’s large resource base with a wide range of skills covering a number of technologies.
“I’ve moved to Qual IT to increase our presence in the Auckland market on the back of Qual IT’s proven track record of over ten years servicing Govt, SME and Large Enterprise customers across NZ”, says Ormsby.
“It is great to have someone on board of such a high calibre from the enterprise IT background” says National Sales and Marketing Manager Greg Riach.
“James is a well-known, and very highly regarded business development professional in Auckland, and his relationship focused approach to clients fits perfectly with Qual IT”
Ormsby is excited about the future of the company and the direction that he can help take them, as well as the potential to engage with some of New Zealand’s best and brightest IT people.
