L’Oréal creates new consumer products role


L’Oréal New Zealand has appointed Mark Hitchcock to the new role of Sales and Category Director within its Consumer Products Division.

Mr Hitchcock was formerly General Manager of L’Oréal Professionnel, an appointment he took up in 2013. He holds a Bachelor of Management Studies, majoring in Marketing and International Management, and his professional background is from within the FMCG sector.

The role has been created to simplify and strengthen L’Oréal’s Consumer Products Division client alliances and will be supported by the appointment of another Category Management Specialist in due course.

Mr Hitchcock worked internationally in senior commercial sales capacities before returning to New Zealand in 2010 when he took up a range of senior management positions establishing extensive networks with key FMCG retailers and channels.
