Strength in leadership and diversity at RSM

Announcement of Nicola Hammond as Partner at the Auckland office on 1 April 2016 brings ratio of female partners to 21% across the group While the accounting profession is still dominated by males in many parts of the world, RSM has globally recognised an increased need for greater diversity in its network and are proud to encourage and acknowledge the success of women in the network.

With the addition of Ms Hammond and the Nexia Auckland merger as announced earlier today, the RSM New Zealand team will now consist of 17 partners and more than 120 staff.

"The RSM team is growing rapidly in Auckland and to have Nicola join the partnership at this exciting time is an additional bonus for our team" said Liz Groenewegen, Partner. "Nicola brings impressive knowledge, background, depth and breadth of experience with a proven track record of providing outstanding client service and adding value to each and every one of her clients."

Ms Hammond joined the RSM team in 2006 where her desire and expertise in client development, and a particular interest in management accounting, saw her quickly build an enduring rapport with her clients.

"I am excited for what the future holds" said Ms Hammond. "I look forward to working with my fellow partners to take the firm to the next level.”

Ms Hammond has a Bachelor of Business from Manukau Institute of Technology, is a CharteredAccountant and is also a Member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
