Lee Tucknott joins DNA Auckland to support growth in product design.

Lee Tucknott joins DNA in Auckland as Digital Strategy & Product Director to support recent growth and DNA’s continued focus on product design.

Lee is an experienced designer and leader, his first role in New Zealand was as Head of Design at Trade Me, most recently he has been at Springload in Wellington firstly as Head of UX, and then Head of Delivery. During his career he has helped deliver useful and meaningful digital products to businesses in the UK, Australia and New Zealand, including setting up internal UX capability at Coles in Australia.

DNA is an experience design agency, spanning digital, service and product design. The company helps large and mid size New Zealand businesses thrive in a connected world with products, services and platforms that enhance customer experience. DNA is effect driven, customer centred, collaborative and increasingly working on channel integration and digital transformation. DNA is 25 years old, and has 50+ staff in Auckland and Wellington.

Lee says “I’m genuinely thrilled to be joining the talented team at DNA. As businesses find themselves needing to develop sustainable products that deliver value, to their customers and business, no one is better placed to help them on that journey than DNA.”

As Digital Strategist, Lee will work alongside DNA Principal Steve Maskell across the digital transformation that is a core driver for many of DNA’s current clients. Alongside this, as Product Director, Lee will be leading product innovation across several clients in a number of sectors.

DNA General Manager Donna Maxwell says “Lee will add a lot to the DNA team, and our clients. He’s fun, creative and clever as well as purposeful and passionate about users, effect and doing great work. He has excellent product experience and is strong across UX, platform, CXD, design and team leadership”.

Lee started at DNA Auckland in mid March.
