MSI Switches to Promapp

MSI Switches to Promapp, Citing Greater Accessibility and Efficiency

Auckland - 6 April 2016 -– Promapp Solutions <http://www.promapp.com> – an industry leading provider of cloud-based process management software for creating and storing business processes online – has been awarded a major contract by MSI Global Talent Solutions <http://www.msigts.com> (MSI).

MSI is a global talent solutions company that helps organisations strategically design and execute programs for acquiring, developing, mobilising, and expanding their talent worldwide. It provides value by helping clients realise greater talent effectiveness and critical mission success as a result of the solutions provided.

MSI’s services include: Global Mobility and U.S. Relocation Services; Global Talent Management Services; Global Immigration Services; Global Compensation Services; and Global Expansion Services.

“Given today’s competitive marketplace and the mounting challenges corporations face with respect to employee recruitment, mobilisation, and retention, Promapp provides MSI employees and clients globally with the kind of platform needed to make business process documents easily accessible to all. This enables collaboration and process improvement regardless of physical location,” noted Eric Egnet, Chief Operating Officer & CIO at MSI.

Promapp’s solution focuses on making processes simple to document, use, and maintain. As it is cloud-based, processes stored in Promapp can be viewed and updated in real time, providing organisations like MSI with both business continuity and a platform for ongoing process improvement.

Users are also empowered to recommend changes to processes while on the job. According to Egnet, “Promapp allows us to look at our processes and those of our clients, capturing and evaluating how information flows so that we can focus on, streamline, and optimise those processes that are most frequently used and are most integral to the business.”

Conversely, Promapp enables processes that are creating issues or causing delays to be immediately evaluated and improved. “Through Promapp’s dashboards, we can see exactly where we need to put our attention,” Egnet said. “And because the Promapp tool constructs process maps in real time as information is input, it is far more efficient and far less labor intensive than, say, Microsoft Visio, where you have to build logic, flows, and conditions.”

He also noted that because MSI is frequently asked by its clients to provide business process maps, the company plans to leverage Promapp software during customer engagements, allowing them to weigh in and see the actual business processes adopted specifically for them.

“Ultimately, Promapp provides everyone who is a part of our business with access and a voice to provide feedback on the processes that will help to support our continued growth and our focus on delivering services that yield measurable outcomes for both our employees and the business,” Egnet said.

Promapp will be progressively deployed throughout MSI’s global operations over the next 12 months.
