Aotearoa Nouveau is 100% Funded on Kickstarter
As of 2.13pm on Tuesday 19th April, the crowd-funding campaign Aotearoa Nouveau: Postmodern New Zealand Wine has been successfully funded on the crowd funding site Kickstarter, raising $20,000 in 30 days. The funds raised will be used to finance the research and publishing of a book dedicated to showcasing the most exciting wine producers New Zealand has to offer.
"We are overwhelmed by the support we have had from both the industry and consumers," says project founder and drinks writer Jules van Cruysen. "We believe that this is excellent news for both consumers and producers. For consumers it means being exposed to a variety of exciting new wines from both brand new and already existing producers."
Van Cruysen encourages all wine lovers to have a look at Aotearoa Nouveau before the campaign closes on Thursday as it offers the most affordable way of getting a copy of the book and, "is the only way to guarantee your copy".
Backers are able to pledge from $1 to be part of the project. Aotearoa Nouveau's Kickstarter campaign finishes on April 21 at 6:30pm.--
