MTA announces new Chief Executive, Craig Pomare
MTA is pleased to announce the appointment of Craig Pomare as its new CEO.
Mr Pomare will assume responsibility immediately, succeeding Warwick Quinn who recently left MTA to lead the BCITO.
Mr Pomare has been with MTA for two years, originally as General Manager Member Services before being promoted to Acting CEO. During that time he successfully restructured the MTA branch network and led a programme to build member’s understanding of the new health and safety legislation.
“I’m looking forward to working with the Board to implement its strategy. We will continue to focus on improving services to our members and representing their interests at a national level, “said Mr Pomare.
Before starting at MTA Mr Pomare held management positions at Westpac Bank and Medical Assurance Society. He lives in Wellington with his family and takes an active role in the local community.
