O'Reilly honour richly deserved, says Business Central
Business Central congratulates former BusinessNZ CEO Phil O’Reilly on being made an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to business and governance in the Queen’s Birthday honours list.
Chief Executive John Milford said Mr O’Reilly operated at the top of public policy and business engagement in New Zealand for 10 years and guided it through many law changes and a roller-coaster of economic conditions.
“He was at the helm during the Global Financial Crisis, when there was a lot of uncertainty in the business community, and his advice and counsel in those times was invaluable.
“This honour is richly deserved.”
