Web Genius awarded Premier Google Partner status
Kapiti-based website and web marketing company
Web Genius was recently awarded the designation of Premier
Google Partner, joining only a handful of New Zealand-based
businesses to hold this status.
According to the
official Google “Inside Adwords” blog: (adwords.googleblog.com), the new
category of Premier Google Partner recognises “partners
who manage a substantial portfolio of Google advertising
campaigns and deliver great results for their customers.
Premier Partners are required to maintain additional
certification requirements and receive increased support
from Google.”
Web Genius Managing Director Richard Calkin says the company is delighted with the elevation to Premier status. “This latest development marks almost a decade of Adwords certification for Web Genius and we are thrilled to join the ranks of New Zealand’s leading Adwords partners.”
Another change recently introduced by Google is that each partner is designated to have a speciality in a certain area. Web Genius’s particular speciality is search advertising, which involves getting its clients listed prominently in the ads that appear on the first page of the Google search results.
“The new specialisations help us highlight to clients and potential clients the areas where we are most qualified to add value,” says Mr Calkin. “They are also very useful for local businesses who are looking for the assurance they are dealing with a reputable company with a track record of excellence.”
With a staff of around 50, Web Genius has been helping Kiwi businesses to harness the power of internet marketing since the year 2000. Through its network of licensed web marketing advisers throughout the country, the company services over 1200 businesses with websites and web marketing solutions.
