Celebrating Facilities Management
Celebrating Facilities Management
‘World FM Day’, the worldwide celebration of the facilities management takes place this Wednesday 13 July 2016. To celebrate, FM professionals, and members of facilities management associations across the globe will be hosting celebrations throughout the week from 11 – 15 July.
World FM Day aims to recognise the work that facilities management professionals contribute to businesses worldwide. This year the theme is ‘Empowering people for a productive world’. It aims to look at how facilities management enables different business disciplines to collaborate to deliver high quality business performance.
Duncan Waddell Chairman of Global FM said: “This World FM Day year’s theme will help to reinforce and remind the business leaders and the general public that FM professionals play a key role in enabling business to thrive. This can be through providing engaging workplaces or developing customer experiences which excel. Throughout the week our members plan to showcase the role which facilities management can play in enabling business through a series of events which will take place across the world.”
