Big smiles and happy riders for Treble Cone’s Opening Day

Press Release – 16 July 2016
Big smiles and happy riders all around for Treble Cone’s Opening Day
Snow enthusiasts arrived early to guarantee their spot in the Home Basin Express queue, all wanting to be the first on their favourite trails. The early birds were rewarded with the Treble Cone classic sunrise over-looking Lake Wanaka and groomed runs to ride.
The day was topped off with the Saddle Basin opening just after 1pm, for skiers and snowboarders to enjoy more of the mountain.
The 2016 season was toasted with Amisfield Bubbles in the Plaza to mark the occasion and TC Cat was entertaining the children as they enjoyed the TC snow. TC’s resident musician, Evan North performed on the Plaza from 1pm until 4pm, entertaining the crowd with his unique sound.
