Peter King appointed to Westpac New Zealand Board
Experienced Finance Executive Peter King has been appointed to the Board of Westpac New Zealand.
Peter replaces Westpac Group’s Deputy Chief Executive Officer Phil Coffey who has been on the Westpac New Zealand Board since March 2010.
Peter has been Chief Financial Officer of Westpac Group since April 2014 and has held senior financial positions with the company since joining in 1994.
He has a deep understanding of the banking industry and a broad range of experience across financial performance disciplines including investor relations, assurance, tax, treasury, retail and commercial banking and financial markets.
Peter has a Bachelor of Economics from Sydney University and completed the Advanced Management Programme at INSEAD. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
