To The Manor Born
The Manor, Estate (Formally known as The Homestead) will be re-launched & re-visioned with an Open Day event on October 1st 2016from 10-2pm.
New owner Liz Heenan is excited about the new venture and extremely confident in the appointment of local, Jae Bedford from The Bedford School of music Entertainment as her Venue/Events Manger.
Mr Bedford has been running events nationwide for several years now and has a long history in music & theatre activities.
Ms Heenan is a great Steampunk enthusiast who came to Oamaru recently to get her South Island fix at the Steampunk festival and immediately fell in love with Oamaru and desired to start a B&B/Function venue in the area. One exciting new innovation The Manor are planning is boutique concerts (By invitation only) of touring/local artists from all over the world and of many different genre's. You can request inclusion on this list at tbsom@live.com
The Manor Estate offers a touch of luxury in a unique bed and breakfast experience from an Historic Stately Oamaru stone home set in large ornamental grounds with sweeping views of Oamaru and the sea.
Ms Heenan & Mr Bedford are long time friends that have successfully worked together in the past and are very much looking forward to doing so again. The Open Day on October 1st will be a great event for the whole family with kids activities, wedding & event displays that will include food/drink service, Music, Boutique B&B, Tours and more.
