OptimalBI appointed to Department of Corrections' technology panel

New Zealand based business intelligence firm, OptimalBI has been appointed to the technology service panel to support the Department of Corrections technology strategy.

OptimalBI tendered for potential work arising from Corrections' Technology Strategy 2015-2017, a strategy that identifies significant ways that technology can be used differently across all of their business units particularly Correction Services.

Managing Director of OptimalBI, Victoria MacLennan says she is excited to support the department’s roll-out of the strategy and pleased that the New Zealand public service is using New Zealand companies to improve digital and technology services.

“We currently work with other Justice sector organisations in enterprise data warehouse management, visualisation and analytical modelling. Our appointment to the panel for the Department of Corrections gives us the opportunity to develop and display our capability further in business intelligence architecture, data warehouse development, data modelling and systems administration.

"We're also really pleased that Corrections is working with New Zealand tech businesses, which is a benefit to both Corrections and the New Zealand Digital and Technology economy, we hope that all New Zealand public service agencies look for opportunities to work locally," says Ms MacLennan.
