Local team develop all-in-one solution to live stream wedding ceremonies

AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND: Aucklanders can now stream their wedding ceremony to friends and family using Watch My Wedding, an all-in-one streaming solution designed specifically for weddings. The North Shore company organises everything – including a technician to set up, pack down, and run the streaming service on the day, so the Bride and Groom can focus on enjoying their big day.

“When planning our wedding, we experienced first-hand just how difficult it is when loved ones can’t attend your wedding – so we decided to stream our ceremony so we could still include them”, co-founder Tessa Langley explains. “However, after weeks of researching the best way to stream our wedding, we just couldn’t find a solution that was both affordable and reliable. That’s when we decided to create our own software and hardware solution – and Watch My Wedding began”.

The Watch My Wedding service uses custom hardware and software to live-stream to a unique URL set up for each couple. ‘E-guests’ are notified of the day and time of the stream, which can also be saved in the Cloud and viewed at a later date, or saved to USB for the couple to keep. Importantly, the stream software has been written to respond to fluctuations in internet connectivity that would usually stall, stutter or crash other streaming solutions.
