Industrial training provider opens doors at Izone

Industrial training provider opens doors at Rolleston's Izone business park

The Izone industrial estate in Rolleston has a brand new addition with the move of AMS Group to 12 Centrum Lane. On Thursday, business owners, managers, and anyone with an interest in safety training and machinery operation can come along to celebrate with the team.

Between 8am and 6pm, people are welcome to visit the impressive new AMS Group site to find out about training, see demonstrations of the machinery, take part in competitions, win prizes and talk with experts.

AMS Group Ltd is a registered Private Training Establishment specialising in a number of key areas of industry training including health and safety training, machinery operation, forklift courses, scaffolding, crane training, working at heights, and driver training.

The company has a reputation for quality and reliability of its training services and programs with extensive NZQA accreditations. With a focus on quality of trainers who have come from the industry and that learners are able to engage with, AMS Group is an approved NZTA licence provider.

“The Rock FM Roadies will be onsite from 8am - 1pm with a BBQ and giveaways. There will be trucks, hiabs, forklifts, cranes, and more. Information will be provided about working at heights, Elevated Work Platform (EWP) training, Health & Safety, and everyone is welcome,” says Phil Garrett, South Island Account Manager for AMS Group.

Managers and business owners are welcome to talk with specialised trainers about the best options for their workplace plus there are exclusive deals, competitions, spot prizes and giveaways all day, including the possibility to win $1000 in training for your workplace.

The Izone Southern Business Hub, built on 180 hectares of former farmland, is New Zealand's largest industrial development situated just south of Christchurch on State Highway 1.
