TAURANGA BRAND AGENCY RECOGNISED NATIONALLY FOR ‘PUBLIC GOOD’
Bay of Plenty-based Woods the Creative Agency have been awarded bronze in the inaugural Public Good category at the 2016 Best Design Awards on Friday. It is the first time Public Good has been recognised at the awards, with WOODS’ collaboration with Priority One and the Young Innovator Awards programme receiving special attention.
WOODS were recognised for their design of an interactive dart stand display, which aimed to get children engaged and stimulated by innovation in the simplest, most cost-effective way. The stand was visited by more than 2,500 Tauranga children in five days – resulting in a record number of entries to the Young Innovator Awards, now in its seventh year.
WOODS was also a finalist in the Environmental Graphics category at Australasia’s premier design awards, cementing their place as the Bay of Plenty and regional New Zealand's most awarded independent brand agency.
WOODS is now looking for more companies to partner with in the hope of using design to not only grow businesses, but also the region we live in.
Contact reuben@woodscreative.co.nz or melissa@woodscreative.co.nz to discuss collaborating with Woods.
