Admark’s printing excellence recognised at Australian awards

Hamilton-based company, Admark Visual Imaging, was thrilled to be awarded two international medals over the weekend at the annual Flexible Packaging & Label Manufacturers Association Awards in Melbourne, Australia.

These are the inaugural awards for the FPLMA, which was officially launched in July 2016 to represent and promote flexible packaging manufacturers and label converters in Australasia.    Admark’s medals were awarded for inmould labels in the narrow web category – the first for Genoese Fresh Basil Pesto label and the second medal for the Disney Princess label.

These awards represent a strong end to a successful year for Admark – earlier in 2016 we took out three gold medals and three Highly Commended awards at the national Pride in Print Awards, as well as winning Gallagher’s Core Brilliance Supplier of the Year award.  The awards bring our international medal tally to 37.

Laurie Pilling, Admark’s Managing Director, says “I’m very, very happy with my team today!  The FPLMA awards are judged on technical excellence and the effective and innovative use of media and equipment and materials.  I think it’s important to mention too that the work we submitted for this competition was taken from our every-day print runs; there was no extra special care taken for the competition - this type of award-winning, technically excellent work is what we provide our clients with every day, and I’m very proud to have my team recognised for that.”
