Celebrating Local Community Champions!

Hunters Plaza will be celebrating our everyday local Champions right here in centre on Saturday 25 March from 11.00am. The Police, Dog Units, Fire Service, St John and other community groups will be there on the day. These champions, men and women work hard and endlessly to keep us safe, that inspire young people, who dream big dreams and encourages us daily.We would like to honor them whilst educating and engaging with our community at the same time. The day will be filled with fun activities for all ages.

We are anticipating having an outdoor / indoor event. Hunters Plaza will also offer FREE entertainment. Bring the kids to meet Captain America and Cornflake the Clown, free rides on Sammy the train, Face painting, Balloon Twisting and much more for the whole family. The three local leading lights of Papatoetoe Olympic Weightlifting club, Joe Pomelile, Baily and Sake, who will be representing NZ in Melbourne to qualify for the Common Wealth Championship will be there to meet & greet. David Letele who has been a huge inspiration to young ones by showing them how you can look after yourself through Bootcamps will be there on the day too.
The programme will start at 11.00 until 2pm.
