RSM appoints three new Associate Directors in Audit

Audit, tax and consulting specialists RSM has further strengthened its assurance practice by appointing three new Associate Directors in Audit; Brendon Foy, Don Aue and Wayne Tukiri.

All qualified Chartered Accountants and members of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, Brendon, Don and Wayne have extensive audit and assurance experience and enthusiasm for assisting clients.

Brendon, Associate Director - Audit, has more than 15 years’ experience in financial statement audits mainly in New Zealand but also with some Australian experience. Brendon’s assurance experience traverses a wide variety of commercial and not-for profit entities, as well as state sector entities on behalf of the Office of the Auditor General where he is a recognised expert in school audits. Brendon’s commercial sector clients include a range of service and manufacturing clients and he has a special interest and specialist sector audit experience within the wine industry. Brendon also has experience providing assurance services to legal firms regarding their trust accounts and internal systems.

Don, Associate Director - Audit, specialises in providing financial statement audit and due diligence services to SMEs. Don has spent time working in Malaysia and in Australia where he gained detailed knowledge of Australian Listing Rules working primarily with public listed companies operating in the oil and gas, construction, manufacturing and mineral resource industries. Since returning to New Zealand in 2014 Don has focused on providing audit and related services to a wide range of entities with a specific interest in the Biotechnology, Forestry, Transport & Logistics and Information Technology industries.

Wayne, Associate Director - Audit & People, has more than 25 years’ experience in the audit and HR industries. Wayne’s audit experience has seen him provide audit, assurance and related services to a wide range of entities across the for-profit, not-for-profit, and state sectors. He is also increasingly called upon for a variety of bespoke assurance and consulting engagements which is testimony to his mix of technical skills, people skills as well as the appreciation of broader governance and other sensitivities. A passionate presenter, Wayne is involved with many speaking and training opportunities. Wayne specialises in Audit and HR, specifically training and recruitment and holds significant experience in these areas.
