New Zealand Medical Software Company ConnectMed Attracts Investment Funding to Accelerate Growth
Leading patient portal will use funds to expand and develop new innovative software
ConnectMed, New Zealand’s leading patient portal, announced today an investment by WinGate founder Adrien de Croy. The investment will be used to fund ConnectMed’s New Zealand expansion and to further invest in its proprietary technology platform. Adrien de Croy will join the board of directors along with existing directors Michael Inglis and Ryan Thatcher.
“ConnectMed has rapidly developed a leadership position in the fast-growing patient portal market” said Adrien de Croy. “What Michael and the team have developed over the last 5 years is hugely impressive, and we’re excited to be working together to create great software for patients and doctors alike. ConnectMed is a great example of the type of founder-led, capital-efficient business that I like to invest in. “
“With extensive experience in the global software market, Adrien is an ideal partner as we continue to scale our business both locally and globally”, said Michael Inglis, CEO of ConnectMed.
Founded in 2012 in Auckland, ConnectMed allows patients to interact with their medical clinic to book appointments, access repeat prescriptions, lab results and access their personal medical information securely over the internet. Its innovative real-time booking system delivers exceptional value for busy GP clinics.
Since officially launching in 2012, ConnectMed has experienced massive uptake with more than 150,000 patients and thousands of doctors using ConnectMed around New Zealand.
